Olive oil and sugar - classics for body peeling

Olive oil is rich in good active ingredients for the skin. Sugar, on the other hand, is considered to inhibit bacteria, as bacteria have no chance in concentrated sugar solution. A circumstance that is convincing when boiling down in the kitchen also offers the skin a good basis for healthy and natural care.

For the DIY peeling, mix 4 tablespoons of olive oil with two tablespoons of sugar. Then spread the mixed paste over the skin and massage it in circular movements everywhere. The sugar crystals dissolve during the process. This also prevents over-irritation of the skin due to excessive friction. If you have sensitive or dry skin, you can use strained body parts with our second variant for a body peeling.

Honey, quark and fine sea salt - for dry and flaky skin areas
Mix one tablespoon of honey with double the amount of curd cheese and add fine sea salt (preferably from the Dead Sea) to the mixture. Sea salt is considered a versatile remedy for dry skin and can be used in homemade body care in peeling treatments as well as in bath additives. In addition, the salt removes dead skin cells, while honey and quark provide moisture and care for the skin.

Coffee peeling - invigorating in the gentle massage
If you like to drink coffee, the remaining coffee powder is an excellent way of gently peeling your body in your free time. The coffee grounds still contain sufficient caffeine, which is responsible for the stimulating effect of the aromatic beans. What the drink has on the mind can also be used for the body in a DIY peeling: The stimulating effect is also transmitted through the skin and, in combination with a massage to stimulate blood circulation, is intended to gently stimulate fat burning.

Thus, for enthusiastic natural cosmetics fans, regular use is associated with a reduction of cellulite. For the application 4 to 5 tablespoons of coffee powder are mixed with the same amount of body oil (e.g. almond oil, olive oil, jojoba oil) and then applied to the desired areas with massaging movements. After a few minutes without soap, but rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.

The skin of the face and sensitive body parts should only be treated with the body peelings to a limited extent. Instead, soft and gentle alternatives should be used for face peeling. Modify the peeling substances salt and sugar by replacing them with almond bran or soft grated oat flakes.
