Circular hike near Tiefenbach near Oberstdorf
A particularly beautiful tour with only slight difficulty is a circular hike near Tiefenbach near Oberstdorf. Here you can hike around the Ochsenberg in a family-friendly way and enjoy a wonderful view. On the way through dense forest and across beautiful meadows you will pass a good 290 metres of altitude difference on about seven kilometres.

The Ochsenberg consists of light limestone and offers impressive rock formations, such as the so-called Judenkirche, a large rock arch behind which there is a cave. After about three hours, at the end of the tour, you come to the rock breakthrough Hirschsprung. From the storm man's cave near the starting point, you can once again enjoy a view of the limestone rocks of the Ochsenberg from a different perspective. For families and beginners a great recreational tour!

Round tour around the Siplinger Kopf, Bleicherhorn and Höllritzereck
A medium-difficulty route, which offers a fascinating panorama, awaits you while hiking on the round tour around the Siplinger Kopf, the Bleicherhorn and the Höllritzereck. From these three peaks, which you climb for a total of seven kilometres through the Allgäuer Nagelfluhkette Nature Park, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the Allgäu.

You start at the Höllritzer Alpe, hike over the Obere Wilhelmine Alpe and climb the last section steeply to the Siplinger Kopf. On this tour you will cover 500 metres in altitude in around three and a half hours and will be rewarded with impressive rock formations and impressive views of the surrounding valleys.

From the Rappenseehütte via Heilbronner Weg and Großen Krottenkopf
If you want to spend your leisure time on a difficult, alpine route, then hiking the 18 kilometres from the Rappensee Hut via the Heilbronner Weg and the Großen Krottenkopf is just right for you. Here you will be challenged and must be absolutely sure-footed, as the route is very demanding. The Heilbronner Weg, which in places runs directly along degrees of the Allgäuer Hauptkamm, is one of the oldest mountain paths and requires a head for heights and fitness.

You will come across challenging passages, airy bridges and ladders. The Großer Krottenkopf offers an all-round panorama of the Allgäu Alps. Further stops are the Hermann-von-Barth Hut, the Siplinger Kopf, the Bleicherhorn and the Höllritzereck, from where you start your descent to the Höllritzer Alpe.
